| I think you are missing the broader picture here. There are serious parking and traffic issues on the roads off Chiswick Common Road on market days particularly when the weather is fine. I don't live there but you can see why residents would be at the end of their tether as you can get blocked in for quite an extended time. The parking by the antiques stall holders used to be particularly bad blocking off dropped kerbs etc but someone seems to have a word and this has improved. It clearly isn't a good idea for the market traders to be encouraged to come to the Chiswick Common Road area as it is causing a series of bottlenecks. If, as Cllr Biddolph suggests, parking space could be found for them still close to the market and away from this area, then that would solve a significant problem. Is Belmont School's playground accessible for this purpose for instance? |
