In furtherance of this I personally would be more than willing pay any extra Income Tax, Council Tax and any other taxes which would be required to bring the police force up to full strength - even at 5.30 a.m. Thus allowing owners of white Range Rovers (and their neighbours) to sleep soundly in their beds Furthermore I believe the only answer to this, is longer sentences to act as a deterrent. (Assuming the intending thieves don't simply run away at the sight of an approaching police car. Ooops!) And I would be only too willing to pay even more tax to keep these lowlifes locked up for as long as possible, even if it does cost 50 thousand pounds a year to do so."
