| Again, you are making statements with no reference to facts and evidence. TfL traffic modelling shows the *existing* average speed along Chiswick High Rd is 5.6 mph... maybe this is a clue why pollution is bad. The predicted journey times with CS9 will make minimal difference to this speed, however what *will* make a difference is a reduction in the number of vehicles, which is predicted by CS9. The rest of your post is just groundless hyperbole. Here is a challenge - can you point to somewhere, anywhere, that has been "destroyed" by a protected cycle lane? What happens is that there are the usual silly objections, the scheme goes in, the reaction is "what was all the fuss about?" and the people who complained either admit they were wrong or keep quiet... |
