It seems the "not enough flights to China" argument has already been shot down in flames, but besides, if there was a demand for additional flights and the bilateral agreement allowed it, I am sure that the airlines (especially BA) would be able to juggle their Heathrow landing slots, if necessary by moving a few short-haul leisure flights to Gatwick, Luton or Stansted, to take advantage of the opportunities for profitable long-haul flights there. |
