Judging by this thread and talking to neighbours and friends in the area, the consensus view on these events is that they are a bit annoying when they are on but recognition that the vast improvement of the park has been enabled by them plus some pleasure in interesting high profile events taking place on our doorstep. If there is anyone being selfish and arrogant here it is the self appointed resident groups who have refused to compromise and left us in a position that nobody but those with the most extreme opinions on this wanted. |
