It amounts to the same thing Tom, and is the usual tactic from the likes of you when dissenting voices are heard. Ironically, rather a lot of voters in Hounslow don’t agree with what’s being done. Some 75 percent of residents didn’t want the Junction Road/Whitestile LTN installed. Were they listened to? Of course not. Schemes in one borough have a knock on effect in neighbouring boroughs, as the statements on this thread have amply illustrated. Just because you think it’s a good idea to close road infrastructure to vehicles doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do. It’s just your opinion and that of a small number of like-minded individuals. What’s funny is how hot under the collar you lot get when you aren’t listened to. If Kensington and Chelsea doesn’t want to put in a bike lane then why whinge about it here? Perhaps you, Campbell and Robinson need a reality check. |
