Nothing wrong with my memory Tom. The post you put up was to illustrate how you and your coterie of like-minded individuals try to close down dissent. It was your chubby chum who originally posted that very argument in relation to a previous thread about C9 in Brentford. His words were, you don’t vote there so you don’t get a say on it. You have something of the evangelical preacher about you. So blinded by what you see as the truth that you can’t understand why most normal people don’t agree with you. But, as Robinson would say, why are you so concerned about Hammersmith Bridge reopening if you don’t live in either Hammersmith or Barnes? There’s also a very compelling economic case for reopening it, simply to enable a better flow of business vehicles to cross the river. I doubt your job involves much movement. Try doing a trade in London for a few days and see how real business works. |
