| Tom, I think collating national numbers with a very spcific location like Fishers Lane is quite a stretch. Public transport in much of the country is limited so many people resorted to cars, more so I would argue than in London. The A4 normally carries a flood of traffic into London every morning, which noticeably fell during COVID. Any comment on the air quality data you posted, it would clearly be down in a year with lots of lockdowns. Bottom line is that overall during COVID vehicle usage fell, though with a lot of variability across teh pandemic. We cant really say a lot more than that. As to your final point, until we get actual London data we cant make any comments on vehicle volumes. |
