| Out of interest, what is the data showing 'trafic was close to prepandemic levels' in Septmber 2021. I see provisional DoT data nationally suggesting in Sep 21 that traffic was still down 16% vs pre pandemic levels that and cars and taxis specifically down 20%. There is often a confusing conflation of 'congestion' and 'traffic', where the latter is the actual number of vehicles. Most were still WFH at that point and Heathrow pretty empty. Given extensive lockdowns, WHF, little air travel etc over the course of 2020, is it a surprise that air quality improved on Acton Lane compared to earlier years. Apples and pears as you note, but again we know that overall traffic fell in 2020 versus pre pandemic. So the point is? |
