Let's have a think, shall we?

It would fit given TfL plans on connecting the Boston Manor route to the A4 demonstrating clear viability not to mention desirability. Aside from that, we could eliminate one lane of traffic which would go toward reducing pollution (ignoring, of course, the shift into electric vehicles which pretty much eliminates the problem altogether, but that's a pesky detail) not to mention discouraging people from driving. Rebuilding tunnels would be doable given the vast sums of money being made available. Easy engineering. Cut down scores of trees??? Really? First, TfL just planned on mowing down 27 in Holland Park so that's a non-starter. They don't care about trees. Second, the A4 trees could easily be moved given their size and, if that doesn't do it, they could be replaced easily with TfL's favorite "like for like" option. Or, put Ruth's new favorite into play - a hedge! And problem solved. But you know that.

I do have an alternative for cycling on CHR though. Happy to sit and discuss at any time. It involves all the things necessary for a vital community and thriving High Street including cycling. And no, it ain't CS9. Curious?
