| "invented by your compatriot in New York in 1994" Looked at another way, Paul, governments on both sides of the pond have had 25 years to sort out how to tax online businesses and still no joy. A slight budge in the right direction here and there, but all that time, the entire 25 years bricks and mortar shops have paid ever increasing rents and rates. You know, the rates that pay for cycle lanes because cyclists sure don't. So think long term. Fewer and fewer rate-paying business means less and less funding for...wait for it... |
