As someone cleverly said: the vase is broken, you can mend it but it won't be pretty and won't hold water. As per changing the vase you are left with the Corbynistas in that field I'm afraid. So: either you go ahead and implement Brexit the best you can (accepting EEA agreement a la Norway and the four free movements it holds - capital, goods, services and PEOPLE) and let immigration to get lower simply because you cleverly wacked the entire UK economy in the process; or you decide it's a good idea to become little England with, maybe, the whiff associated to a fiscal paradise (see Osborne slashing corporate taxes!). Your choice. |
