| Bernard. The UK already trades very actively with lots of countries, there is no undiscovered continent. Who knows if that Indian company will move, certainly without full market access Glaxo will scale back their UK presence. The body that approves all Europe's new drugs sits in London, with a whole load of investmetn and science jobs that flow from that. It will have to move, as will the supporting jobs. London is a vibrant and open city that leads the world in many areas. Going forward, without full market access, this will no longer be the case, and we will see a long but inevitable decline in its status. As to buying more vehicles made in the UK, why arent all these patriots doing it already...... |
