| No, Bernard is mostly right... "The average working man has been shafted by this referendum, and will end up the poorer, while the rich will just get richer." You have to blame the Government for calling the referendum, and then you have to blame the Bojo and the Bozos (now all in hiding) for misleading the average working man (and woman, as well as non-working men and women.) Where we differ is that I believe the average working man will be much better served in the EU than out, and if politicians of all sides had any balls they would say that and refuse to accept the referendum result in the interest of the poorer sections of society. As for the rich getting richer, some will, but many more will not. Whether they lose enough money to make them uncomfortable, though, is a moot point. (As to real estate funds, tradesmen and shop workers may not know about them, but its odd-on that their pension scheme trustees do.) |
