| Thirdly my nephew runs a small and up to now successful business designing producing and selling fittings for boats. The majority of his customers are abroad and on the first day Brexit was announced 60% of his orders were cancelled Sean as we haven't left the EU yet I think its a knee jerk reaction to people who thought the world ended on the 23rd June. If they cannot get there bespoke part and accessories from anyone else they will soon realise and come back. Not so long ago my cousin was in the UK looking for Chefs to live and work in New Zealand it took 2 months to get 6 chefs to take up his offer, if he was here now he would probably have a lot more jumping ship. Talking about NZ that use to be a boating paradise, maybe he could turn his sights towards new markets? |
