The Israelis reply with disproportionate force and many Palestinians are killed. Hamas continues to fire rockets at Israeli settlements. This empasse began in the nineteenth century and has made no real progress at a settlement for the past 66 years. Do you really think the MP for Brentford & Isleworth can make any difference to a situation that has been beyond the world's top diplomats for more than half a century ? |
