| The point is a simple one. The Labour Candidate should not be trying to pull the wool over people's eyes by posing as some kind of local champion claiming that she "is particularly concerned that the promised footbridge to link the new buildings to Chiswick Park station has not been built" and to seek our approbation by claiming that she has "raised this as an urgent matter with Hounslow Council’s planning department." It is ludicrous for her to seek credit for doing what she and her colleagues should have done long ago. This matter has been raised on several occasions in public forums over the years. So there were many opportunities for her to get involved before the matter became in her opinion "urgent". |
