Having spent part of her formative years in Chiswick, lived in the area for many years, and assidously courted the constituency as a PPC for years before 2010, Mary Macleod most certainly knew we existed - unlike her Labour predecessor Ann Keen-Expenses who felt that commuting from Brentford to Westminster was too much for her and bought a flat near Parliament using public monies. Did the local Labour party ever condemn her for doing so ? Their silence was deafening. |
