Sam, most people will be interested in the validity of what people say rather than their motivation for saying it. Are you saying that Ruth Cadbury is unfairly targeting a successful local business park which has always conducted itself in the best interest of the community? The original fund from s106 contributions for transport was £14 million which, laughably in retrospect, was supposed to fund a stop by the Piccadilly line at the development. In the event it seems to have been frittered away on items that have done nothing to improve transport issues around the business park e.g. funding the implementation of controlled parking zones and road improvements elsewhere in the borough. The result has been that there is nothing left for relatively straightforward but desperately needed improvements to Gunnersbury Station and the long promised walkway from Chiswick Park station remains elusive. If you have any specific evidence that Cllr Cadbury is in any way culpable for this mess, let's hear it. Otherwise, why not back her attempt to retrieve the situation. |
