| Alan, they are just a bunch of liars. It's shocking how they are able to just get away with it. When they lied to us about CCTV and told us that "many residents have requested CCTV as it makes them feel safer walking the streets" I asked them for the name of just ONE resident who ever told them that. Just one. But they told me they couldn't due to "data protection". Liars. Then when they said that loads of residents had been delighted with the wheelie bin trials last year, and thought they were marvellous, I asked them to give me just one person who supported them Just one. I didn't want the full list of "hundreds" of delighted residents who said they supported wheelie bins 100%. I just asked them for one name. Nothing doing. They simply make all this stuff up. They made up all the lies about the displacement from Chiswick House car park, to fabricate an excuse for the 2-road CPZ. it was all lies, we have documentary evidence that it was all lies. CHGT had already carried out detailed traffic surveys which proved that "there could be no displacement at all from Chiswick House car park" and that "charging in the car park must not be used as an excuse for introducing CPZ in neighbouring roads". But they just decided to lie and make it all up anyway. And they know that there is NOTHING anyone can do about it. They rig the consultations by asking only the people who they know are likely to support their view. When they get results that conflict with their strategy they lie about the results (they did this with the area wide CPZ survey in 2011. 80% of respondents said they were not have any problems with parking, or were opposed to any CPZ. But LBH declared the results as being "a majority in favour of CPZ". Liars.) The recycling, the foxes and rats - it's all mad up lies to shut us up and divert our attention away from the truth. Which is that all of Grove Park will be getting CPZ, Wheelie Bins, and whatever other bland "uniform" environmental crap that LBH decide is good for us. We can protest all we like but they are just laughing at us. they know we cannot do anything. They don't have to take any notice of us. They ignore all petitions, complaints, and they rig all the surveys and consultations in their own favour. They refuse to reply to sensible questions. They ignore complaints. And so does the Ombudsman. So that's that. What a depressing state of affairs. |
