| "When I queried AI I was told there were 1,800 bus crossings each day. This seemed to be too high so I asked it to double check and it broke down exactly how it got to that number and it made sense. Taking typical average bus occupancy - that is at least 50,000 people a day" I have just notice this earlier post so how about; Adding a pound to each bus fare that crosses the bridge? That would raise circa 18m a year. In fifteen or so years the cost of repairs would be more or less covered. Buses and blue light vehicles only allowed to cross. Once paid off the levy could be reduced to cover on going maintenance. |
