| "The bridge should be taken down and rebuilt." No, they should replace it with a tunnel. If they can tunnel between some of the Shetland Isles, as recently proposed, then a tunnel under the Thames shouldn't be beyond us. I appreciate that there would be issues with the properties on both sides, but there ought to be a way to manage it. |
