| There are people who cycle way too fast on pavements and through parks and far too close to pedestrians - especially when they are cycling up from behind and overtake people who can't see or hear them approaching. The youngsters in Oxford have far better manners and know how to cycle slowly, know what the 'no cycling' sign looks like and also manage to walk their bikes when the signs say 'no cycling' or they are on a pedestrian only pavement. I suppose it has only taken hundreds of years to learn. |
