Why would BFC get a share of LI ticket sales? Why are you assuming BFC got all of the food and drink sales at LI games? It was reported in the media that the FA simply paid clubs to host Women's Euro games so the ticketing isn't relevant. If you look at the BFC accounts for 21/22, 22/23 and 23/24, BFC made £1M more commercial revenue in 23/24 without LI than they made in 21/22 with LI. Do you think it is credible that BFC grew their commercial revenue to the extent that it more than covered your claimed £2M contribution from LI? Or more likely that LI's contribution was nowhere near £2M? Commercial revenue grew £3.9M between 21/22 with LI and 22/23 with LI and the Euros. A number of factors would have contributed to this growth but it would have included the Euros, and wouldn't have included LI. |
