| I would like to know where Mr Norman gets his collision data figures for the past 3 years seeing as how TfL itself only shows data up to 2017. Having lived very adjacent to Shepherds Bush roundabout just behind the Hilton for the past 47 years I can assure you all that removing one lane Westbound would create a massive traffic hold up during most rush hours. All too often in current conditions, and especially when it rains, the traffic queues back to Ladbroke Grove at least and often to Notting Hill. Also, the idea of the cycle route crossing the roundabout just demonstrates the lack of foresight of these so called planners. How is the crossing going to work? A flyover? An underground cycle path? Just going straight across and holding up all the traffic using the roundabout would end in gridlock. |
