| I'm surprised TfL even bothered consulting in RBKC given their track record on public health and aversion to anything that stops their wealthy residents driving and parking where they like. There won't be a shortage of other boroughs who will want the money to build cycle routes if RBKC don't want it. I expect Hammersmith and Fulham will be supportive of the Wood Lane - Shepherds Bush section. Tech businesses and Imperial College at White City are in favour. So the route will stop at Holland Park roundabout in the same way a number of cycle routes stop at the boundary of Westminster. RBKC pulled out before the consultation was even closed so haven't even read the responses. There is still the opportunity to respond (by 16 June) https://consultations.tfl.gov.uk/roads/wood-lane-notting-hill/ |
