Also deeply in debt and now growing consistently "The problem is a structual budget deficit or to put it in plain language, even in the good times the government was spending more than it could afford by sucking resources out of the private sector and borrowing on a truly heroic scale" It's a point of view, but odd that you don't point out that this 'borrowing on a heroic scale' was also Cameron/Osborne policy at the time. |
