I have just been told by a leading research house that The UK, and London in particular has benefited positively from the EuroZone Crisis. Q1 has seen more Italian and Greek investors buy commercial and residential property in our fair capital. Beating Russian money for the first time ever! As to the GDP, its all nonsense in my opinion, If the number had been +ve it would have been 'an example of fluctuations in conditions', as its -ve only tells us to expect more of what we already know. As you say, no real change in underlying conditions, and advice from some very short-sighted and naive economists. Keep doing the same stuff and we'll keep getting the same results. |
