In my view, millions of people in the EU - perhaps even a majority - agree more with David Cameron than their own leaders. But they are not given an oppportunity to say so or vote accordingly because nearly all their mainstream political parties are Europhile and totally committed to the European Federal Fiscal, Monetary and Political Union project - a project that has failed. This is particulaly true in Ireland where the newspapers and other media are dominated by pro-EU propaganda and where dissenting views are hardly ever published. The number of French people living in the UK has increased every year since 1991, according to French government statistics. According to the French Embassy in London there are over 400,000 French citizens living in London, which means that there are more French people living in London than in any French city except Paris, Marseille and Lyon. There are more French people in London than in Toulouse, Nice, Nantes, Grenoble, Lille, or Strasbourg. If the British model is so bad, why are there so many French people here ? Or Spanish, or Greeks, or Irish, or Poles ? |
