| I personally am not moaning about it Janice but merely asking the question - why did we suddenly ( post about 2020) need to be issuing so many work visas ( thus allowing so many more people to come into the country than had been previously)? The reduction in people coming here from the EU was vastly outweighed by people coming in from outside the EU. What changed in around 2020/21? While I was aware that a lot more people came here from the EU than the Labour government had expected to come (post-1997), until recently, I wasn't even aware of what plenty of people are referring to as the "Boris wave". |
