| The periodic COP conferences, conceived in the Paris agreement and held every 6 months or so are meant to unite World leaders in tackling climate change, Promises made by the World leaders to reduce their carbon emissions are seldom, if ever kept. In the past 18 months Canada, Australia, Japan, Italy, South Korea, Norway, Germany and other countries have back tracked on previous intentions to stop drilling and are now less zealous in their march towards renewables. All have seen the light with the exception of one country and soon Sir Keir, or Andy Burnham will need to curb Mr Miliband's crazy, over ambitious targets |
