Tom you are certainly gentleman in the way you answer other posters on this forum. We have a Doctor of Physiology in the family, listening to him lecture about the strength of plastics is very interesting. Although some time ago, some load bearing upright RSJ’s in an underground station were covered with plastic, to add to the strength. The science or theory behind this was to prolong the life of the very old RSJ’s. But after reading and listening to unknown scientists that have suddenly appeared to advise our government on the pandemic, I have started to disbelieve what any of them has to say, I am sure they are making it up most of the time, very similar to some doctors. All the Government and local authority's ideas for safer streets and reducing pollution have had the effect of pushing me out of my local area on to another high street which is a lot easier to get to, and park. All this has been high jacked by a minority of harden commuters cyclist who want their cake and eat it, and sod the rest of the community. I don’t like being push out of my local community, which I have put a lot of hard work in making a much better place, when the local authority had no intention to do so. To the usual suspects on here, what goes around comes around, as it’s all based on some very bad science. |
