"Can you explain why you think it is the responsibility of people who would like some protected space for cycling on Chiswick High Road to point out to emergency services that there is a facility they could use" Well, Michael, as you and others like to gloat that you have the inside scoop from Mark Frost, LCC, HCC (in this case you), Will Norman, etc., and you go out of your way to silence any queries from others and laud this connection over them, I'd say it does fall on your shoulders to ask these questions. To dig deeper. As an engineer I'd think you'd be more interested in a more disciplined approach and a more collaborative solution. No great building is built by the engineer alone. That is to say if you care at all about anyone else other than those on a bike. Which you have yet to demonstrate let alone with regularity and the empathy you demand others bestow upon you. Your silent mantra has always been "care about me but we don't give a f*ck about you." I've also noticed no outrage from you with regard to the elderly waiting with their frames on a floating bus island without shelter. |
