| Let's hope shall we? Fingers crossed and all that. Corbyn has very belatedly worked out what an opposition is supposed to do, however had he still been on the back benches the likelihood is he would have voted for the Bill last night. He's giving Keir Starmer a free(ish) reign at the moment, it'll be interesting to see how long that lasts. See also: Tories who talked a good game but ending up putting party before country (have a look at yourself this morning Anna Soubry). However we are now in a position of relying on a dozen or so Tories to put country before party and gut this naked power grab, and you know what? All of a sudden I don't feel too confident. Still, in the final analysis if you voted Leave, this is on you, you own this. |
