| “There is nothing democratic about a vote where the public were lied to and misinformed.…” Those first two sentences of yours could also apply to remaining within the EU, Bradley. As could the last sentence. The ultimate lie was ‘no essential loss of sovereignty’ and the deceit over the known consequences of joining the Common Market (and later, the EU). British politicians have misled the British people on this issue since Macmillan onwards. --- The EU published its plans for the future a year before the Brexit vote. The sin of omission, however, also means very few referendum voters were aware of EU plans for EU Economic, Banking and Fiscal Union “at the latest by 2025”. …And all these Unions working “towards a Political Union”. At the March for Europe, will you be campaigning for the UK to join EU Economic, Banking, Fiscal and Political Union? P.S. The UK will be leaving the EU, not Europe. |
