From what I've seen, the intention appears to be to incinerate more of the non-recyclable waste (generating energy from waste, "EfW") INSTEAD OF sending most of it to landfill. Where does their website suggest that non-recyclable waste will be increased? The emphasis on their site is very much towards increasing recycling. |
