This is HOUNSLOW don't forget. Just take a drive further west near Fortress Lampton and have a look. People are shoving bags and cardboard etc into the wheelies and if the lid doesn't close - so be it - they just leave it. And have a look how many recycling green boxes are next to the overflowing wheelies. Close to zero. The wheelie bin is an easy option for many lazy people to simply bung there recyclables into the wheelie. Recyling tonnages will reduce radically this year. Its a no brainer. |
