Recycling is likely to fall in the borough but it won't necessarily be the fault of the Council. There are hundreds of new flats being created under the relaxed deemed consent rules in properties that were originally used for commercial purposes. Some of the larger ones like Empire House and Chiswick Tower may have arrangements for recycling but lots won't. With many more flats being created on the High Road and no adequate system for collection expect bin bags being strewn around the area to become an even more regular feature of local life. |
