| Andy, I appreciate exactly what you are getting at but the fact is even at a very local level time and money are wasted. Similarly with the DWP and absolute horror for the unemployed and sick and disabled - I was just glad it wasn't me having to deal with the ridiculous changing benefits back and forth and the endless questions, not to mention 3 letters all sent separately in one post! They are wasting more money on these nasty 'sanctions' than they could ever wish to save, while people genuinely suffer. In this instance offices in Belfast, Glasgow and Hounslow were all involved in one claim, but they had great trouble believing that forms can and do go on the missing list and virtually accused the claimant of lying! |
