| The pay for nurses and ambulance staff has not been raised in line with inflation every since the financial crash. They have effectively been subsidising the NHS. And on top of this Jeremy Hunt refused the recommendation of a 1 (just ONE) percent rise made by the NHS independent pay review body earlier this year. What else can they do but strike if no one will listen? They have an excellent case for a rise. |
