| You can speak for yourself on that one Andy...being happy for them to be on strike indefinitely. I am sure there are millions who would not be quite so. As for them being undervalued by government, has it not been ever thus? That does not make it right but even a s a young larrakin in the 70's(which was shared governmentally betewwn Labour and Tory it being exactly the same. I think the NHS also has a part to play in this disparity, it seems that many managers and background staff do very well whilst those at the sharp end not so. I accept that they should get decent rises but the NHS has it's responsibility in creating such a situation as we have. |
