From the BBC Former SNP deputy leader Jim Sillars has said there will be a "day of reckoning" for BP and the banks in the event of a Yes vote. The Scotsman and Daily Telegraph are reporting Mr Sillars - pictured campaigning with Alex Salmond - said: "This referendum is about power, and when we get a Yes majority, we will use that power for a day of reckoning with BP and the banks." They also report Mr Sillars stating BP would be nationalised in the event of a Yes vote. Oh good. That should calm everything right down then. |
