It's an obvious fallacy to suggest that the conservation area is a bad idea because parts of the designated area are not worth conserving. Perhaps there is an element of professional jealousy at work here. More valid grounds for objection might be the cost of implementation and the cost implications for local businesses. If these are both negligible, there aren't really grounds for any objection to this idea. |
