| I cant see LBOH being that quick creating a conservation area in Chiswick High Road. Going back a few decades they were so long winded in creating legislation to save the frontage of the Firestone factory, the developer rushed in on one August Bank Holiday and pulled the front of the factory down, effectively putting two fingers up to the local Authority. I personally, along with most of the workforce were glad to see the back of the flaming place. To many workers health was endangered by the carcinogenic chemicals used in the Tyre building process, they were glad to see the demolition . |
