Cyclist's, don't you just love em.I met one on Devonshire road last week.Unfortunately the cyclist was riding the wrong way down the one way part of the road.Of course, I forgot, some cyclist's think they ALWAYS have the right of way, even when they are doing wrong.I held my course. The cyclist was never in any danger and my car never came close to him.My car just happened to be on the part of the road he wanted to be on and so he had to stop.As he went past, he spat on my windscreen and kicked the back door before riding off giving me the finger and a mouthful of abuse.I would have turned the car around and gone after him if the road was not one way.I have met cyclists before who are full of bravado and insults while they have an escape route. But see how quickly they change if you confront them.Inconsiderate cyclist's have damage my car mirrors on 3 occasions without stopping and I have had to pay for the repairs or lose my no claims. The mirrors on my car are £400 each.Well my cyclist friend, if you are reading this, my car has a video recorder that records oncoming traffic.Guess who's star of the latest video ? Your gob on my windscreen has been captured in glorious HD.The kick you delivered to my back door has resulted in a repair bill of £300, which I have every intention of making you pay.I took a swab of my windscreen hoping I can get a DNA test done on it by the police. If you have a record, you can expect a knock on the door very soon. This need not have happened.I would not have been bothered by the cyclist if he had just ridden past on the other side of the road, but no, he had to force the issue and I cannot understand why.i'm sure some cyclist's, like this one go out of their way to antagonise motorists.Well my cyclist friend, this one is going to turn round and bite you on the arse. And you certainly deserve it. |
