I'm not sure why you think it's unsustainable Jayne - not sure whether you've written what you meant to write. "51% of the population is taking more out than they have put in, go figure that one, its unsustainable." If the richest 49% are putting in more that they are taking out, and the poorest 51% are taking out more than they are putting in it can still be entirely sustainable! It's not about whether the proportion who are taking out more than they are putting in, is greater than those who put in more than they are taking out - it's about how much is being put in and how much is being taken out. I know I'm being very simplistic, but surely you'd agree with my example? |
