In terms of voter interest the economy is irrelevant. Every political pundit and analyst now recognises that immigration is the top concern of the vast majority of voters. Hence Farage is storming ahead. Starmer has just a few days to digest the impact of Farage’s speech before Parliament opens next week and he HAS to react on day one! Labour MPs will be watching him very carefully but it is now extremely doubtful that he will remain in No 10 until the end of this Parliament. PS. I dare say some Labour supporters will also be questioning the outrageous behaviour of the Deputy PM. |
