| Michael, when were Devonshire and Cranbrook made one way? As someone who uses Cranbrook multiple times daily, I'd imagine it has far more to do with the numerous blind turns more than anything. Cyclists use it as a rat run to CHR, that I know. And boy they get pissed when they almost run right into your grille. Meanwhile, there is no room for manoeuvring one way or the other. Of course they could stay with flow on Chiswick Lane and cyclists on Devonshire could do the same by simply using Annandale. So it's a bit rich for drivers to be told they can simply go a bit further and it's not that bad - blah, blah, blah- yet cyclists can't pedal between Devonshire and Annandale getting another 50 metres or so of healthy transit. That tells me it's all about convenience and entitlement and little more. |
