I thought ALL forms of regular exercise did that. And plenty of pesky studies to prove it and all. Walking does a fine job. Only that will be more difficult with significantly narrowed and crowded pavement. Jogging is super fun and super aerobic. But again, oopsy, no pavement to do so. And then there is all that cardio equipment in the gym not to mention Chiswick pool. Rowing on the river, anyone? Personally I'm not a fan of Pilates but it, too, is aerobic. I'd much rather do intervals. Or if I'm tired, a good hill climb. Gosh, the list is endless. So really, all those choices and not one of them puts the community and businesses at risk. |
