A response as hysterical as yours. If it is the "cyclophobe" tag that bothers you well I am afraid that there are years of well documented evidence of your cyclophobia on this website. It has nothing to do with your latest piece of reportage. Occasionally writing that you support safe cycling but ..... does not provide sufficient counterweight. It may interest you to know that I actually happened to be there when the incident that you saw took place. I was walking my Brompton on the pavement after doing some shopping on TGT. My view of it was considerably less dramatic than yours but I did think that the woman seemed rude and anti-social. I would have been as annoyed as the parents and I thought that it will be a lot easier for me to politely suggest that she leaves the pavement to pedestrians when the alternative is safer than it was that morning. If I was mischievous I'd say that there would be more space for everybody if there wasn't a great big trestle table taking up space for shoppers. I know that you have an excellent track record of preventing progress in Chiswick but all winning streaks have to come to an end. I don't care if Curran drives a Range Rover.
